Avni B. Shah
Avni Shah is a partner at Bell Law LLC and focuses her practice on residential and commercial real estate, corporate and estate planning for individuals and small businesses. With over twelve years of experience, she has extensive knowledge in real estate purchases and sales in the Chicagoland area, entity formation for the purposes of limiting liability, and estate planning to effectively re-title and distribute assets.
She has successfully represented a wide variety of buyers and sellers, from first-time home buyers to seasoned investors and developers. She is experienced in all aspects of the real estate transaction, from execution and review of the contract, contract negotiations, document preparation and review, and closing-related matters.
She has worked with clients to purchase existing or new businesses involving the purchase or lease of real property. She has also assisted clients in their corporate and estate planning needs, such as will and trust formation or entity formation. With her unique background in real estate, she is able to appropriately advise clients as to how to title assets and provide alternative options for distributing real estate property for the purposes of estate planning or limiting personal liability.

Jeremy Bell, a Chicago Kent College of Law graduate, founded Bell Law in 2005. He has been practicing law for over 17 years and has extensive experience focused on residential and commercial real estate, estate planning, corporate/small business formation, and various business transitions.
Attorney Bell began his successful career downstate, as a litigator at Quinn, Johnston, Henderson & Pretorius, an insurance defense firm in Peoria, Illinois. In this capacity, he gained valuable courtroom experience, which serves him still today. After those formative two years as a litigator, Attorney Bell began practicing transactional law at Vonachen, Lawless, Trager & Slevin in Peoria. There, he gained experience in diverse areas of law, including real estate (purchases/sales as well as lease drafting, negotiation, and review), small business/corporate formation, tax, professional licensure, estate planning, and municipal law.
Attorney Bell took his experience and formal legal education at DePaul University and at Chicago Kent College of Law, to form Bell Law. He is an experienced negotiator, able to read a room and determine the best course of action for his client. Attorney Bell remains committed to his clients and their best outcomes, whether in the boardroom or courtroom.

Stephanie A. Wolfson
Stephanie A. Wolfson focuses her practice on real estate, professional licensing, and health care law.
Ms. Wolfson received her Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law. During law school, Ms. Wolfson received a Health Law Certificate from DePaul’s Health Law Institute, was an authorities editor for the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law, and was co-chair of the Health Law Institute’s Student Board of Directors. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, Philosophy, and Social Studies of Science and Medicine with a focus on History of Medicine and Biomedical Ethics from the University of Chicago.
Before coming to Bell Law, Ms. Wolfson actively practiced for nearly a decade both for the government, and in private practice. Prior to working in private practice, she gained significant experience through her time with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). With IDFPR, she was an attorney with the Office of the General Counsel and was integral in the drafting of the Illinois Cemetery Oversight Act and amending other practice statutes. Ms. Wolfson’s experience began before obtaining licensure as an attorney; during her last year in law school, she obtained her Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 Senior Law Student license followed by her Law Graduate license, which allowed her to represent IDFPR in matters, from informal conferences to formal hearings, regarding the licenses of healthcare practitioners.
